Restaurant served good food, and all the staff were courteous. Room needed some repairs, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Has plenty of towels for our needs. There is a small refrigerator in the room, which was greatly appreciated. The elevator was a blessing, but is very small - just enough room for us and our luggage! The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean, and there were speakers in that area playing classic rock music. Has a small casino with older games (Texas Tea - max bet was 45 cents!), which was convenient for early morning or late night fun. Won a little bit, so we were happy! Also located within walking distance of the monorail. And a short distance from the strip! Parking at the hotel was free, which most of all the hotels now charge for parking.

A hotel that used to be something now converted into something of a motel standard. However, this is not a drawback. Round-the-clock service, great gentlemen at the front desk! Rooms clean, spacious, well-equipped although the equipment has the best years behind it (for example, you can collapse in the couch), but everything works. The hotel has a bar, a casino and a swimming pool. Spacious parking lot, great location as a base for going to The Strip (even on foot in about 30minutes), worse to Freemont Street but there its easier to park a car. The neighborhood is rather safe. It's also close to several stores. Easy access to and exit from LV. I would love to stay there again especially at this price!

the staff is awesome… every last one of them! As a woman traveling solo to a lower end hotel is always a crap shoot but I was very pleasantly thrilled with my stay. Manager upgraded me to a pool view suite without asking and everyone went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Does it need some upgrades, yes but everything was super clean for the dated decor. it had everything I needed except a gym. I didn’t book for luxury, I booked for convenience and proximity.

Convince of parking very close to the room and not having to drag luggage all the way from parking garage through casinos to get to room like in bigger casinos. Close to the strip. Pool hours opened till 9pm. Great value. Friedly staff. The grounds were always clean and ash trays around the facility were always emptied and trash cans were always empty. Enjoyed having a mini fridge counter space and divider between the beds. Quick strait shot to the airport.

I stayed at the Mardi Gras many years ago and I chose it again due to its location near the convention center. It was funny, very little had changed. The same bartender was there. The location for the monorail and convention center is excellent. The little restaurant/bar is surprisingly good and the staff is great. I got sick while there and the staff genuinely were concerned for my health and checked on me whenever they saw me.
